After soliciting a little input, I have decided to give this forum a go. I like the platform used on this server and hope that y'all find it user-friendly as well.
For now, the site is functional but about as plain as it gets. Feel free to respond to this thread with any suggestions or critiques that could improve the site. Color scheme, sub-topics in the forum or even the name of the site is fair game. Speak your mind.
Otherwise, post away on any Appalachian related topic that you would like. If you enjoy the site then get a friend to join the conversation, the more the merrier.

YT is a member of about 50 boards, so I'm not surprised he was first here.

Probably a bit early with all of TEN members on the board, but seeing that we now have members representing Wofford and Elon, it would be nice to seperate SoCon football and basketball from Appalachian football and basketball. It would look out of place to see "GSU-Wofford game thread" in the Appalachian football forum.
Also, I don't have any suggestions just yet, but perhaps a different name for the board so it does not get confused with the AppFan blog.

I appreciate the suggestions and once the conversations pick up, I will add some more sub-topics to separate ASU and other SoCon threads.
You also make a good point about the name, as it is a bit close to AppFan. Changing the title is very easy, so any suggestions are welcome!

Not that you have to copy us, but i doubt you will need to separate. Most fans from opposing teams come on to talk during the week of there game. Unless you plan to do a lot of talking about the Elon-UTC game you prob can leave it the way it is until membership grows enough that it becomes an issue. |

If there is a want, I can create a full fledged site with message boards, image galleries, sports pick em, top 25 poll, etc. I have pitched the idea on MMB before, but never really got much of a response. If there is a desire, I will create a custom site!

To add to that message, it would also be completely customizable by us since it will be on my server. Not a free/paid server with a set service like proboards and delphi.
Let me know if you guys would be interested in this, and if so, let's make it happen!
