The Top 25 Poll may not be worth the effort in my opinion, just because the AGS Poll gets so many participants and you would need a lot of voters for that to really be fun.
I figured creating this board would be a simple, easy solution to the fact that I absolutely hate the Delphi layout. I would suggest getting solid commitments from a good number of folks before you go through all the trouble of registering a domain, I'd hate to see you do all that work if the participation isn't there. If the numbers are present, you can count me in.

Well for starters you can register a domain and forward it to this site. All you need to pay is the yearly registration fee, around 10-15 dollars. It works as an easier way to get the word out about the site. IE www.elonfans.info instead of the long proboards URL. At a later date you could move the domain to new server and build a board from scratch.

Thanks for the input! Yea, I won't put a ton of work into it unless the numbers are there. The problem is there are so many competing App related fan sites, its hard to justify spending the time to create one. Again, the benefits of creating one though is we would have FULL control of everything. If we could centralize everything into one location (i.e. message boards, photo galleries, member blogs, top 25 poll that MMB has, etc.) I think that would be beneficial.
I am in no way saying the other sites (MMB, AppFan, here) are bad -- in fact, I would want to possibly integrate them to the new site.
I guess what I was going for is instead of doing this site per se, would anyone want to help me with the creation of another one? I would do all the "heavy lifting" (i.e. registering the domain, coding, graphics, maintaining the server, etc.) but I would need help with keeping it active, inputting data, moderating it, etc.
Again, if this is something the peaks enough peoples interest, I will do it. Otherwise, its not worth the effort since there are already several other alternatives.

elon, thanks for the input. That is definitely doable. I run a web development business as well as being the director of web development at a small research and development company so I know the ins and outs of how to do almost everything web related.
