Homecoming should be very interesting this year, with Samford coming to Boone riding a 3-game winning streak. Jamal was impressive last week in Charleston but should face a stiffer test this week. It will be interesting to see how he reacts when some pressure is applied. Samford is 1st in the conference with 10 interceptions including 3 by safety Corey White, who also leads their team in tackles with 31. Offensively, senior QB Dustin Tallaferro has passed for 1,273 yards and 10 TDs, while sophomore RB Fabian Truss has rushed for 589 yards and 6 scores.
I expect ASU to move the ball on the Samford defense, but not nearly as easily as last weekend. I'm sure the guys are happy to play any offense that is not a triple option and should be able to get pressure on Tallaferro. We will be challenged in this game but with the offensive line starting to come together, Jackson playing with confidence and the benefit of a rowdy Homecoming crowd, I like our chances at The Rock.
ASU - 35 Samford - 24

I'm excited to see what DP can do at Safety (if they even play him that is). I'm also wondering if this means Kalik is the new #2 man? I don't think Samford has what it takes to beat ASU in Boone because I also believe ASU will play it's first complete game of the season. I hope JJ's game at Cit wasn't a fluke and he comes out slinging again. All I will predict is an App win.

I've been told the coaches are lining DP up at different positions at practice. Have they decided to move him to DB? I have not heard anything specific.
